Lionel Andrés Messi born (born 24 June 1987) and Raised in central Argentina popularly known as Leo Messi, is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, played for fc Barcelona for the majority of his senior career and also captains the Argentina national team. Often considered the best player in the world and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.
Among his contemporary peers, Messi is most often compared and contrasted with Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, as part of an ongoing rivalry. Although Messi has at times denied any rivalry, they are widely believed to push one another in their aim to be the best player in the world
